WHO WE ARE
We are a grassroots group not just informing parents and the community, but also taking them to the next level of activation.
We have several allies from other groups and organizations working towards the same cause and joining forces in Statewide events to create a greater impact.
OUR MISSION
Alliance To Protect Children is a grassroots movement based in California dedicated to inform, educate, and activate parents, community and taxpayers on issues that impact our children’s health, safety, and education. We are committed to fight for dignity, decency, family values, our children’s minds and hearts, and for the restoration of our parental authority.
OUR VISION
To eliminate the destructive progressive Bills undermining our God-given and Constitutional rights. To be a Statewide Resource parents and community can use to be equipped to act at the local, county, state, and federal level through voter education, legislative outreach, rallies, sit outs, school board interactions and more.
VOTER EDUCATION & LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH
Legislators continue to propose laws limiting our options as parents and expanding the mandate of AB 329. Some legislators even bully us, their constituents, hoping to silence us and keep us from defending our children, but we won’t back down, they are OUR children! We will stand up to the bullies and confront them for our children’s sake. We won’t stop, we were the sleeping giant, but we are no longer asleep, a revolution is coming and parents are leading it. Enough is enough.
STATEWIDE SIT OUTS
SeXXX Ed Sit Outs are important and effective because schools lose money when students miss school.
ADA (Average Daily Attendance), Most people don't realize that there are several different ways schools get their ADA money, and some don't realize the last ADA count happens on June 30th. Most people think the last count is the April 15th count, which is the P2 count.
Although the P2 count in/or around April 15th is the larger % of the three counts, THEY ALL MATTER! The last "ADA" Annual Daily Attendance is very important and even puts the schools into a lottery to receive other source monies.
BOTTOM LINE - If we want the districts to listen we need to give them a reason to listen. Let's hit them where is hurts. Their money!
SCHOOL BOARD INTERACTIONS
At Alliance To Protect Children, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Changing and setting new policies in place is not an easy task, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area at each school district. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
